We are currently looking for a service/installation engineer who will take care of the service, installation, start-up, commissioning and training of our equipment supplied to customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
The ideal candidate must have technical training in mechanical/electrical engineering. Ideally have previous work experience within industrial manufacturing, although candidates without may also be considered.
Excellent communication skills are required, in order to relate with our customers and for accurate internal reporting. Candidates need to show resourcefulness, good organisational and time management skills.
The role will be Monday to Friday with occasional planned weekend work. We also have a 24/7 call out service where successful candidates would be expected to cover one week on six. Weekend work and call out will be paid at agreed overtime rates.
An initial training and coaching phase, where the successful candidate will shadow members of the current engineering team, will take place. The duration of which will vary depending on the level of preparation and knowledge of the candidate.
Training will also be provided at out HQ in Italy on pre-planned courses throughout the year.
Regular travel will be required during the working week, a company car will be provided for business and personal use, accommodation and subsistence expenses will be covered by the company.
